Spaghetti and Meatballs

Meatballs:
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/3 cup milk
2 eggs
400g beef mince
400g pork mince
4 garlic cloves finely chopped
Dried basil
Baby bocconcini
Salt and pepper

Sauce:
Fresh basil leaves
Olive oil
Garlic
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tins san marzano tomatoes

Method:

  1. In a saucepan, heat up oil and diced garlic until wilted and soft
  2. Add in onion and cook til soft
  3. Add in tomatoes and tomato paste
  4. Cook til soft then blend with a stick blender

  5. Mix milk into breadcrumbs until absorbed

  6. Add in mince, eggs, garlic, dried basil and salt and pepper
  7. Roll into small golf size meatballs, add a piece of bocconcini into the middle
  8. Roll out until all meat is used
  9. Place directly into the sauce and cook on slow for 45 minutes
  10. Serve with any pasta you like
