Japanese Curry (great with Katsu)

This recipe is great with katsu.

Ingredients:

1 capsicum – diced
1 carrot – Chunky diced
1 onion – diced
2 sticks of celery – cut into small pieces
3L water
1 packet Japanese curry powder
500g Beef chunk (not needed if you are using katsu)
2 cups cooked Japanese rice – to serve

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 120
  2. Heat some oil in a pan and cook onions and brown beef
  3. Add in veggies
  4. Add in curry powder blocks and all the water. Stir til curry is disolved

  5. Place whole pot into the oven for 4-6 hours

  6. In a bowl, place 1 serving of rice. Top with katsu if you are using it
