Ingredients – dough:
3/4 cup milk
2.5 teaspoons yeast
1/4 cup caster sugar
1 egg+1 extra yolk
75g unsalted butter, melted
3 cups bread flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
Filling:
– ham or bacon
– Cheese
– Olive oil
Method:
- Follow steps 1-6 from the cinnamon rolls recipe
- Sprinkle generously with cheese and ham/bacon. Cover with olive oil
- Roll it up and cut it into scrolls
- Place rolls into a lined/greased baking tray and allow it to rest for 45 minutes and turn on the oven to 175degrees to allow it to preheat. Dough should expand again
- Bake for 25 mins until edges are golden
