Easy Scones

Ingredients:

3 cups self raising flour
80g butter – soft
1 1/4 cup milk
jam and cream to serve

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees
  2. Sift flour into a bowl

  3. Using your fingers, mix in butter

  4. create a well in the middle and pour in milk

  5. Knead until just combined

  6. Roll the dough out to 2-3cm thick

  7. Cut into 5cm disks and place on a baking tray

  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Serve immediately with jam and cream
