Ingredients:
3 cups self raising flour
80g butter – soft
1 1/4 cup milk
jam and cream to serve
Method:
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees
- Sift flour into a bowl
- Using your fingers, mix in butter
- create a well in the middle and pour in milk
- Knead until just combined
- Roll the dough out to 2-3cm thick
- Cut into 5cm disks and place on a baking tray
- Bake for 18-20 minutes. Serve immediately with jam and cream
