Carbonara sauce

Ingredients:

200g button mushrooms, diced
50g butter
150g of bacon, diced
1 onion, finely chopped
1 egg
1 cup cream
50g mozzarella cheese
Cooked pasta to serve

Method:

  1. cook mushrooms in a pan until soft. Remove from heat

  2. In the same pan, melt butter and add in bacon

  3. Stir in onion and cook until bacon is cooked through

  4. Add mushrooms back into the pan

  5. In a bowl, beat the egg and stir in cream
