Beef Ragu pasta

Ingredients:

2 carrots, diced
1 onion, finely
3 cloves crushed garlic
2 cups beef stock
2 cans crushed tomatoes
1kg Beef brisket, cut into large chuncks
1/4 cup red wine
Fresh pasta

Method:

  1. Season brisket with salt and pepper

  2. In a pan, heat some oil and cook garlic and onion

  3. Add in carrot and cook until soft

  4. In a slow cooker, add crushed tomatoes, stock, red wine and onion mix. Add in brisket and make sure it is covered by the mixture

  5. Cook on low for 6 hours.
  6. Pull out brisket and shred with 2 forks

  7. add beef back into the slow cooker and add in fresh pasta. Mix well

  8. Slow cook for 10-15 minutes or until pasta is cooked through. Serve immediately
