Serve with Persian rice and yogurt
If you do not have a food processor, buy minced lamb and beef and finely chop everything
Ingredients

2 brown onions
300g lamb
300g sirloin steak
4 cloves garlic
1 egg
1/4 cup bread crumbs
2-3 sprigs of parsley
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon paprika
1 pinch ground saffron
Method:
- in a food processor – finely chop up onion (or grate)

- Cover a strainer with a few pieces of paper towel and drain the onions for a few hours

- In a food processor, mince beef and lamb


- add in garlic, parsley, egg, turmeric, paprika and saffron. Mix well


- Add in the drained onion

- Move mixture to a bowl and stir in bread crumbs, season with salt and pepper


- cover a plate with baking paper. Roll the mixture into sausages

- Cover with cling wrap and leave overnight.

- once you are ready to cook it, grill it on a BBQ or stovetop
